H.A.L.O.  AWARDED GRANT FROM THE
COMMUNITY FOUNDATION OF HERKIMER & ONEIDA COUNTIES, INC.

Helping Animals Live Organization (H.A.L.O.) has been awarded a grant in the amount of $10,000 from
The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties, Inc.  These funds will be used for the purchase and installation of a new high efficiency
furnace and a LifeBreath Heat Recovery Ventilation system for the organization’s HALO House cat shelter.

“We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties.” says H.A.L.O. President Faye Bunk.
“We are deeply grateful for their help as we desperately needed these improvements to HALO House for the health and well-being of our feline residents as well as our hardworking volunteers.”

            The Community Foundation has been a force for improving lives and promoting philanthropy throughout Herkimer and Oneida counties since 1952 and has made more than 3,800 grants totaling over $26.8 million.  Grants are generated by the more than 240 funds that comprise The Foundation’s endowment, established and advanced by area individuals and families.
