Anna, a 13 year old young lady was celebrating her birthday with family and friends
and instead of asking for presents for herself, she asked her friends to
make a donation to HALO.

Well, Anna raised over $200 for the cats and kittens at HALO.
The cats and kittens celebrated Anna's birthday with
cat treats, new toys and some of the money will help with vet bills.

Thank you Anna, Happy Birthday !!

Sad News !!! 11/2/07

Asia, a very shy cat that has been with us for over three years had been adopted
into a loving home. But her new roomie Molly was jealous and piddled on a blanket
and the lady brought Asia back to the shelter. Asia is sulking in her bed.
I'm so sorry honey, maybe a kind soul will adopt you into a home of your own.

SHELTER UPDATE !!!!

Our second year in our own place !!!

The cats all love their new home, its bigger and brighter and warmer than the
old apartment where they used to live.
The new house has two floors and a lot of windows. The kids have been busy
exploring their new home and
judging by all the purring and upright tails, the cats all seem very happy....

We are a group that rescues stray and unwanted cats.
We get them checked by a vet, have them spayed or neutered and
they are also tested for feline AIDS & Leukemia, then they are put into our cat colony to socialize with
other cats so they can be adopted in a home of their own or learn to live with other cats.

We GOT our non-profit 501(c) status !!!!!

We are currently fostering a total of 65 cats (adult & kittens), can you open your heart to a cat.
We also have special needs cats that need a lot of loving TLC.

We are in need of a for sponsor for our website.
